Fast Forward Pathways

TOPS University Pathway

This pathway allows students to earn a universal transfer degree or technical associate degree while also earning a TOPS University Diploma.

High-Demand Apprenticeship Pathway

This pathway offers a wide range of careers and post-secondary pathways to pursue after participating in a Louisiana Workforce Commission registered pre-apprenticeship/apprenticeship program.

Jump Start 2.0 Pathway

This pathway encompasses a wide range of careers and post-secondary pathways to pursue after earning a technical associate degree while also earning a Jump Start TOPS Tech Career Diploma.

How to Adopt Approved Pathways

We believe that opening up more options and opportunities for our students is the greatest way to help them achieve success. To help your school system’s students have the most opportunity to thrive, review the Fast Forward pathways available in your region and the approved postsecondary institutions & apprenticeship programs to decide which pathways are best suited to your students.

The frameworks provided here offer a structured course sequencing that may be shifted in order to meet the needs of schools, students and postsecondary institution scheduling requirements.
